Oh, that point! It's a bit faint, but none the less visible for being inconsistent with it's surroundings. I felt the juxtaposition of the left hand side of the point against the edge of the window was very tastefully done and added so much to the point you made. Unfortunately i'm going away for the...

How utterly and pathetically British. The management must be descended from the ostriches who piloted the UK motorcycle industry (and just about every other sector of British industry) from top of the heap to extinction in twenty years! Too right! If it ain't broken and works perfectly you can rest...

I think the Sweetone D is a very nice whistle, especially at the price they are. Well worth the money. I bought one for a friend's daughter, she's well happy with it.

And they come in lots of nice colours. :D

I'll get one going. It will take a few days. I don't do them myself.

Best wishes,
Jerry

We should run a poll and discover where whistlers stash whistles around their homes to play in passing. Oooh! that would mean that I have a valid excuse for buying more whistles than the two I have now??? how nice Only having two whistles is a perfectly valid excuse for buying more... lots more. :D...

One can't blame the seller if people bid the whistle up to $800. It's the buyer that did the bidding.

Maybe this generation stuff should be a sticky thread. As soon as one debate finishes, along comes someone else and starts another one off. Have these people not acquainted themselve with the "Search" tab; it's up towards the top right of this page between "FAQ" and "Memberl...

If the tunes are in C and would typically be played on a recorder, then get a recorder.

I used to really enjoy playing recorders when i was a child. They got left behind when i started playing brass in my teens. But they were lovely musical years with many nice friends.
