Re: Seeking Literary Suggestions

I highly recommend The long Christmas by Ruth Sawyer--if, you can get your hands on it! It's out of print, but an excellent read aloud book of Christmas short stories.

The Wee Christmas Cabin of Carn-Na-Ween being a personal favourite.

Cheers,
John

Item 1: On the first mix cd I burned, a few years ago, one of the tracks is "Is She Really Going Out With Him" by Joe Jackson. The fact that I mostly skip over that track now is no absolution. No, you are absolved of this. But, I favor the Joe Jackson song "Steppin' Out." :thumb...

Have ya seen it? Unfortunately, I had to sit through the aforementioned tunes. I couldn't stomach it after that... And the worse of it was, I lost an arguement with my wife on where it was made. I said--definitely in the US, we Irish may destroy decent C&W songs but we would NEVER do that to OU...

Where's the Thornton Whistle Tour at Now?

Hi folks. The whistle just arrived in the post today. My wife thought I got myself an early Christmas present and was none to happy to see that cylinderical package show up in the mail. This is my first time to be on a whistle tour and I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing. I am not a newbie nor a...
