Thanks for the feedback folks.
Think I'll let this one go and stick with the Howard for now.
A friend of mine visited Brian earlier this year and bought me back a new whistle head which is a major improvment that I would recommend to any one.

Yes I've tried all manner of search criteria and turned up nothing. I have a Howard which has a great bottom octave but you really have to push it to get the second octave which is considerably louder. I find the easiest wayto work this out is as follows. If you play the tune on a G whistle with your standard D whistle fingering the tune will be in G. Now if you work out what notes your actually playing on the G whistle you can work out the fingering on the D whistle to play in G - does that make ...
