FREE TO GOOD HOME!
Hi all, In the interests of preserving marital tranquility in the household, my apartment is undergoing a massive de-cluttering project. As part of this, I wish to relocate some of my whistles, about 9 or 10 of them. They are a fairly fine assortment of cheapies--Feadog, Clarke, Walton, Generation, ...

If you like a brown patina or wish to have a close relationship with the products of the Nevr-Dull company, buy Brass Pro...If you abhor polishing whistles, buy AlPro. LOL I thought I liked shiny whistles but after getting the Burke I have since learned that, you know, I really would prefer ...

I wish the real story was as interesting as the one about Crystal People. I haven't run off to get married yet; that happens on September 21. (And it's not even a secret, and I am marrying the person everyone thinks I will.) Well ok.... I suppose part of the story is interesting in its own graphic w...

Sure, a lot of these cases wouldn't stand up on court, but you still have to have a lawyer to defend yourself. And I'm afraid that unless the case gets a LOT of press and interest, you would have a very difficult time getting free representation. How many cases like this are there? Do they all get o...

Lessee... I don't know about the other types of brass Burkes. The wide bore model seems to have a lot of fans. I have not read any reviews of the narrow bore. I too was a little overwhelmed at first. I thought of writing to Mr. Burke to ask for more information. I would still recommend that someone ...

Yes-- Suddenly I can practice a lot longer at one sitting. Buying the Burke was one of the better decisions I've made. Even if I don't play only that one whistle forever, I will improve much faster now. This is probably true whenever you upgrade to a SuperWhistle... no matter who made it. Something ...

Time frame for me = just a few days. They must have had one on hand and mailed it within a day or two of getting the order. This was a Session Pro D in brass, don't know if the other models would come this quickly (or how many they have on the shelf!) You could always ask them, of course, but I deci...

A Burke session pro in brass. Thanks to all who offered their advice a couple of weeks ago. I love it. It's a little on the quiet side, quieter than I expected when people told me it was quiet, but this is good in a primary playing-at-home whistle. It is shockingly in tune and this will take me a lo...

Yes. Feadog makes both plain brass whistles and also whistles of painted brass. Now they come in nickel too. There are choices to be made when you buy them  At least if you buy them by mail. I photographed painted ones because they show up better in the pictures. Previously, colored brass Fead...
