Pat Sky Uilleann Pipes and Reeds
I have a full C# set made by Rogge(Coyne clone) and have been very happy with them. Over the last year I had a lot of health problems and felt myself somewhat weaken. I wanted an expert like Pat Sky to look them over and see if there were anything that I was not able to see, perhaps make some new re...

I agree that you did the right thing. It was poor of someone to ask in the first place.

New Low whistle
I would like to have a low whistle. I have a very good Burke D session whistle. But I would like one play plays more mellow and with a smooth tone. Not a low D, I tried one of those and did not like it. Any suggestions on say a B or B flat. Not so much concerned about playing it with others since I ...

Guitars in ITM
Please give some light on playing a guitar in ITM. I play the pipes and am not a guitar player but have friends that want to play along. Many sit there an struggle never quite making it into the tune. I have heard that: 1) ITM is not played by chords like country or many American folks songs. 2) Tha...

Re: East Coast USA Uilleann crafters
Hello,
All that you have listed are excellent pipe makers.
Until you learn to make your own reeds, I would suggest going with those that are near you.

Re: RIP, Bernard Grigsby
I met Bernard at the Pittsburgh Tionol 1991 and we became friends right away. We attended the same years at Augusta several times . He was truly a wonderful kind person. He came down with Phil Sexton to a piping party near Raleigh NC. I too did not know he had passed away until I received the summer...
