I've learned about 40 since I started a year ago. But for most of these I'd near to hear the first few notes to help get me started. :-)

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so SO much for all your help, everyone. I think I'm going to order the Burke wide bore brass black tip model. It does sound, though, as if any Burke would be great. :-D Thanks again! Which Burke whistle should I get?

I was delighted when my mom-in-law offered to fund the purchase of a Burke penny whistle as a Christmas gift (my whistle teacher has advised that I get a Burke) so I am going to get one of these D whistles: http://www.burkewhistles.com/index2.htm They are all the same price. I have no idea how to pi...

I'm now taking whistle lessons from a wonderful teacher in Toronto named Karen Light, and am attending sessions at the Tranzac, thoroughly enjoying them. Thanks all for the advice earlier! I've been taking notes a...

Next personal goal: be able to play a tune from memory at a regular session.

Thanks so much for your earlier welcome and encouragement, everyone!
