making my way to Miltown to plunge into the circus for the first time. We're a month out and I'd love to hear some tips and tricks for survival. Hopefully I'll manage to run into some of you surly folks as well.

Froment's D's are rushed, but not his flat chanters are not, at least the ones I've played.

Anyone care to comment on Froment's take on the Rowsome style chanter. He was mentioned in the original post and I haven't read about the evolution of his chanter designs.

There are some great videos of Tommy playing at the Dutch Tionol in 1989. I thought they were out in the open, but they appear to just be on the NPU site. I'm a huge fan of his style of playing.
