Happy New Year Fallspiper2, I have an Excel spread sheet that calculates the cent differences from ratios of the tonic frequency in Hz. I'd be happy to post it to the site if there is a way, or alternatively I could send it to you direct.

No one seems to have mentioned the main effect of filling in the space under the wind way, which is to sharpen the second octave relative to the first. This is a real phenomenon and with D generation heads and makes them easier to play in tune.

All this can be a write pain, I worked out years ago that my limited reading ability means I transpose into the fingering for a D whistle and use which ever whistle produces the right notes, I actually read in GHB position as well which can be useful but I like to have things in my fingers before I ...

I didn't scare me as much as it would have, as I developed a technique for solving these "differences" problems by overlapping the images with my eyes.

I'd love to have a supply of Arundo donax on my doorstep but I make up for it with Phragmites australis and Sambucus nigra. Very much a Hunter Gatherer process but very rewarding when you find some great stuff. A lot of the Elder comes from former industrial sites near my home and redevelopment can ...

This happens with GHB drones as well.
The drones are not independent; they exchange energy through the air by means of sound waves so that when 2 are in tune the 3rd will be pulled (within reason) to that frequency.

Unfortunatly the gif is written in a 5th down but it is the only version of the the tune I can find that has no note mistakes.
