Pibgorn are very forgiving of different fingerings because of the single reed. I play one by John Tose and there are several fingerings possible, though I usually play straightforward open fingering. I made one out of a long (about 3 foot)length of garden hose and an old tin whistle mouthpiece. You blow harder, but also block or half block the end hole to get a lot of different notes.
