In 2019, before Corona we had the pleasure of welcoming flute players from near and far to Landskrona for a week of flute playing. Hopefully we will be able to host such a gather...

Re: Thesis about the Simple-System flute
Hi again, and thanks for the appreciation. It's good to see that it is of value for someone after the hours spent working on it. Although, I must say it has been a real pleasure, both doing the interviews and to carefully go through the material. Do you want typos corrected, or is it already approve...

Thesis about the Simple-System flute
The first half of my PhD about the Simple-System flute is now available online. The study is based on interviews with flute players Lisa Beznosiuk, Jean-Michel Veillon, Andreas Ralsgård, Conal O'Grada and Anna Roussel, as well as flute maker/player Stéphane Morvan. It is quite theoretical and perhap...

Re: Flute question
Thank you for your comments. What got me wondering was the feeling that I got when I played the flute. It had more of a dynamic range than I have previous experienced in the German flutes. I didn't measure it, but I had the feeling that the bore was wider and holes were larger. But I am sure you are...

Flute question
Hi! Does anyone know what flute this is? There's no stamp on it. I'm sorry for speaking Swedish in the video, but at least it is possible to the see the flute. It's not mine and I don't have it any longer. If I had, I would take some decent pictures instead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzW5t93Nq...

Re: New flute CDs out
Thanks for taking interest in the music
As you have noticed, Jidder has new material coming up on youtube and there will be another CD coming as soon as we have time to get into the studio. I'll get back to you when I know for sure when that will be!

Re: New flute CDs out
Oh, tanks for asking, Dunnp!
Yes, both of the new CDs are actually available on iTunes! If you search for the band names and they will show up.
My previous CD, Diphtong (Gisen, Ulvsand & Tullberg) is also available on iTunes.
