Re: Laurent Flute sold in Paris

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6AvbSmszJeE It’s been posted in the last conversation we had about Laurent but I think it’s nice to see again. Re: Laurent Flute sold in Paris

How about some type of blue clear resin?
You could maybe still turn it as normal.

Just watched a Facebook video of someone turning a clear resin ball on what looked like a normal lathe.

The beautiful colour of that ivory chanter makes me think an all boxwood w/ boxwood mounts Taylor chanter would look class.

Is 7mm the outside or inside diameter?
Is that not a huge throat/ reed seat?

Re: Whistle with Uilleann Pipe fingering

Many years ago I was in Maine, Bar Harbour I think. And there was a shop selling an Uilleann fingering whistle made out of a susato Bb I think and it had a tube running up to the mouth. It had a (back d) and was closed off at the leg. I tried it but wasn’t inspired to buy one. It may have worked som...

Re: Anyone know of any antique chanters for sale?

In the past few weeks I’ve seen a couple of Crowley sets,
a Kiernan Bb (which I wish I had got to) and a Tom White chanter for sale but I was thinking older
as well.

Just interested to see what’s out there.

Anyone know of any antique chanters for sale?

Just curious if anyone knows of any antique chanters currently for sale?
Can contact me by pm or post as appropriate.

I know sometimes these things can be a bit below the radar

Thanks in advance

High pitched F project flute: Best offer

Wee F flute here. Only marking is “HIGH PITCH” on the body.
Got off eBay as the seller said low pitch F flute.
Haven’t done anything to it as it’s fun to play but not a priority so blu tac under keys. Needs pads no cracks.
It’s plays pretty well.
Make me an offer

Can probably make a video tomorrow.
