WAAAAAHHHHH :swear: But you ARE Power. Exactly.... power, surprisingly or not, does not come from muscles working hard. If you want a powerful sound, you can adjust your grip and playing position to...

I have a cousin who between the ages of 3 and 5 went through a phase of picking up random objects and bashing them against tables, chairs, walls, doorframes, people's legs... All the whistle in the house (generations) had funny angles, a couple were right angles and wouldn't play, and one had a slig...

I'm a 21 year old white female, so I'll probably have an advantage with the cops... I'm also well able ...

If you're supposed to have a license but don't, how much trouble can you get into? I'm thinking of going to the states for a month or 2 this summer, and busking would bring in a useful bit of cash, but I won't have a work permit and they woudn't give me a license.

Busking Laws in States

Hi all,

Does anybody know what the law on busking is in the states? Or in NY and surrounding states, NC, WV, VA, TN and ID more specifically?

Thanks,
Jo.

The Cumberland Arms in Byker on Wednesday is the main ITM session but you'll be missing that. The Bridge Hotel by the High Level bridge sometimes has stuff on on a thursday night. I think there's a session in Durham on a Friday but couldn't be sure of the top of my head and it's a 30-40 minute drive...

Don't forget that Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is Welsh. Cranberry, I'd like to hear you say that three times fast. In fact, I'd like to hear someone be able to say that at *all* :D I can say it. I don't have equipment / webspace / a good enough computer to post a clip...

So to summarise: A meet-up of C&F members living in Wales is planned for one Saturday. Venue either a room in Swansea university or somewhere in Aberystwyth or in Trisha's barn if available. Partners are welcome but not too many 'external' people. There will be a contest to find Wales' worst whi...

I thought I'd resurrect this thread as it would be suitably understanding. We have a mouse. It's quite a cute little thing, and doesn't go for the cheese we put in the snap-traps. So, as it's been around for about a week, we've got kind of attached to it. We have yet to find any droppings, but I saw...

Do players ever make much of a distinction between highlands and flings, then? I tried getting a friend who knows a gazillion tunes to play some barndances - he didn't know what they were! Could somebody post definitions of a highland, a fling and a barndance? I do know some barndances, but I don't...
