I second your approval. I have one of them in the key of A. I find it quite easy to play even into the highest register. Some criticism: The bell tone (lowest) isn't that strong. You've got to be gentle with it. Also the flat 7 fingering is the same for both octaves 0xxxx0. Which is a little annoyin...

I too like my Tony Dixon aluminium tunable C. Thicker walled, full tone. Hope this helps.
