I met Mary at Catskills Irish Arts Week this summer. I asked her about her third volume. She says she is working on it, and is making a lot of progress. She sounded excited, so I'm taking that as a good sign.

In July, I flew from Charleston, SC to New York and to Dublin, Ireland - so, 2 round trip flights. I spoke to Gay McKeon last week. Yes, Liam O'Flynn had bequeathed his pipes to NPU.
I saw and heard the pipes being played.
The case contained replacement reeds with notes hand-written by Benedict Koehler.
