I have that recording, but never heard the name John Carlos before today. Not that much online. Can anyone fill in the details? I'm guessing @carloslarge from Roscommon might know something more. All I know is that I love John Carlos's playing. He'd be one of flute players I'd be most interested in...

I can hum a lot of tunes accurately - I know them fairly well, I can play them all very slowly on the whistle, and I have a handful of tunes that are session-ready under my belt, though if I played them solo, listeners would only be giving me about 6/10 for performance quality. So what do others do...
