I am tempted to purchase a used Gilles Lehart or Delrin flute, which seems to be in my college student price range. If someone is selling a Gilles Lehart or Delrin flute I would be curious to hear the prices. I am located in California so stateside shipping is preferred.
Thanks!

Anyone selling a Lehart D flute? or a nice keyless wooden?
I'm in the market for a Lehart, Barna Gabos, or any relatively affordable wooden flute!
I am located in San Diego, CA. I would prefer a semi-affordable flute so that most likely means keyless but I'm open all for sale flutes if I can tend my budget a bit.
Thanks, Owen!

Re: Questions about flute maker "Fabio di Natalie"
So I got the flute! I like it. It's a bit more mellow and sweeter than I expected, you can really tell the maker primarily makes baroque flutes or at least that's how it feels. But that being said it still can hold up in a session. I really enjoy it. It looks nice as doesn't take a lot of air the to...

Questions about flute maker "Fabio di Natalie"
Hello all, Just bought a Fabio di Natalie Rudal model flute 2nd hand without playing it. Heard a clip of it playing and liked it plus his baroque flutes look top notch so I felt comfortable buying the flute. Still waiting on shipping though. Anyone have any thoughts on this maker, and/or more specif...

Re: WTB: reasonable half set for reasonable price
You are right it is slightly vague. I just updated the information. I am in north America I do not have bellows or a chanter, but I have a way of getting a cheap chanter so if someone is willing to sell a set without a chanter to keep the cost down that would work for me. Thanks, Owen I would respe...

Re: Slow Air and Jigs on Boxwood Flute
Just out of curiosity what are the tonal differenced between boxwood and let's say Blackwood. It's very hard for me to hear the differences unless I play the flute in person and I have never seen a boxwood flute at a session.
thanks
thanks

WTB low d goldie
Hello, I am looking for a goldie low d for a friend. He plays in the celtic ensemble at Berklee and really needs to upgrade his instrument. He wants to upgrade only once and get a goldie he can use for sessions and performances. If you have a goldie laying around or know of someone who does he will ...

Re: A weekly documentation on my uilleann piping progression
Cool thank you all feedback is appreciated. Ever since I got that book I realized the importance of playing closed and how much more difficult learning the pipes would be. Regardless I'm excited! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihq0dbwFQsE I have been listening to his playing a lot recently the tigh...
