I made this flute last night, a Low D, I just followed the instructions for it that can be found on Doug Tipple's website. Total cost so far, about $1.40 lol (and about 40.00 in tools) All it is is a piece of 3/4 inch schedule 40 plumbing pipe and a rubber stopper for the tuning "cork". It...

To bend a note while drawing (inhaling) you basically pull air downward through the hole. At the front of my mouth I pull my tongue downward, and slightly increase the draw strength, and it can also help to tilt the harmonica downward away from you, so you are pulling air at a downward angle through...

Brass D is en route. I can't wait!! Very cool, I think either option looks great, ( I think the yellow/silver looks sharp ) but I think I would order a brass one for myself. Could flip a coin really. Thanks for this thread, saved me about 70.00. I bought one of those flutes, and when it came I spent about 4 hours trying to get it to make a tone. lol Watched youtube videos and read different instruction sites. Then sadly discovered I made a big mistake, lol but the good news is I didn't waste too...
