I followed Richards instructions to mod a spare generation Bb that I had and it turned out amazing. To avoid extra headache you do need to start with a descent playing whistle mind you. I did the same mod on an Oak high C to create a C# and it didn't work out very well.

Love it. Be sure to play it as loud as you can tolerate. The last track is a proper party.

Love the Pogues and our troop plays heaps of their songs. You'll find that most of their songs are covers, so it's easy to find whistle tabs or ABCs for most of them unless you want to play exactly like Spider. It sounds a bit lame but it's an old fly tying trick to use clear nail polish called "hard as nails" Toxic sh*t but it works well.
