I have been learning on a high D whistle and just for a change I bought a Bb and instantly found a little problem with the finger holes in that I can't easily get my right hand ring finger on the lowest hole due to arthritis. Looks like a black Walton’s. I think the camera ratio is off so it appears elongated. Shes been know to change her whistles every performance as she throws the whistle into the crowd after the show. WHich whistle is she playing

The link here shows Andrea Corr playing Toss the Feathers but what instrument is she playing it on? The mouthpiece seems a long way from the tone holes and yet it appears to be a playing a high D scale.

All good answers, thank you. I am an almost complete newbie and am not expecting the world but it is nice to know exactly what to expect when I finally get round to playing with an element of skill.
