Re: Yet another whistle storage/carrying solution
If you're willing to spend more money then you can get clear PVC. (e.g. Ryan Herco www.rhfs.com in San Jose carries it.) I thought it might be a good idea if you're flying and having to deal with the TSA, as small pipes with end caps installed might be misinterpreted. Plus you can see what's inside ...

Re: Moloney & Sheehan
Thanks for posting that. There's a "//url" that needs to be trimmed off the end of the URL.
Also does anyone know how to get the RTE iOS player in the US? Otherwise it doesn't want to play on my iPhone. I guess a workaround would be to change the browser agent?

Very enjoyable, but I was disappointed that there was no mention of her smashing early work with Éamon De Buitléar and Ceoltóirí Laighean. They only made two records, but they were huge influences on me early on. I wore out the tape of "An Bóthar Cam", I played it so much. If you have tim...

Re: Attempting to open a new online whistle shop
I think that there's a typo in the email address on the about page.
BTW - I went to CMU for undergrad, and had grandparents living in Duncansville. My grandfather worked for the railroad for over 45 years, but I only travelled through horseshoe curve once

Re: tin whistle ear trainer
That's neat that anyone with a modern browser can not only use it, but customize it. My sister is working with some students in a coding club, and some high schoolers were using Snap! which seems quite similar, but more powerful as far as computer science concepts go. I'm not making whistles, but I ...

Re: Whistle Numbers Notation
I had never seen this form of whistle numbering so I was curious, and found that Tony Dixon Music wrote a little about it, and that seems to agree with the C natural notation mentioned earlier in the thread. https://www.tonydixonmusic.co.uk/2015-10-10-whistle-tutorial "0 = No fingers 0/5, = Top...
