Re: McNeela flutes...
I tried both flutes you are asking about: The 6 keyed delrin is not a bad flute at all for its price, but it has several details I don't like particulary: It is too heavy (Delrin is heavier than any wood), specially in the headjoint (besides it is lined so it increases the weight) the keywork is fun...

Re: FS: Cocuswood 8 key flute with new head joint
Hi everyone, A recent restoration; the head joint was not salvagable, due to someone trying to improve the embouchure hole... Re: My HF Meyer flute
@Guilleflute What is the relation between the question about the type of wood and your contribution? I thought there were two questions: 1.- about wood 2.- about particular details or clues to recognise a Meyer or Nach Meyer flute. So, I was answering to the second one. I can't answer the first one.

Re: My HF Meyer flute
Question Jon: How do you know it's Madagascar Rosewood? Is that something that Meyer flutes are known for, or are you able to identify it as such. If so, what are the clues? keywork (shape, pillar mounted, crossed G#, configuration), holes in right hand (you really need to use fnat key when you are...
