Re: Feadog head
Wish there was a way to know for certain. Yours looks like a MK I. I'll take your word for it. :) Now after playing and comparing both whistles for some time, it's getting clearer that the 3€ flea market Feadóg is considerably more comfortable to play and has a nicer tone (I'm quite sure that it's ...

Re: Feadog head
Thanks for pointing out that the photo didn't work. I replaced it with a link, hopefully the photo can be found behind that. Did some searching and googling, and much of the info I found would indicate that the whistle I found is a Feadóg Mark I, at least judging by the stickering and whistle head. ...

FS: MK Pro Low D (Green)
Hi, I'm selling my green MK Pro low D due to little use. It's in a very good condition. Tunable, loud enough for sessions, and "pushes back" nicely on the upper octave but not too much. To my ear the sound leans toward a flute a little, but is still clearly a whistle sound-wise (can't conf...

Feadog head
Hi all, I have this basic Feadog high D whistle lying around as a backup whistle (the upper one in the picture). Recently, I found another Feadog high D at a flea market (the lower one). I decided to buy it as it was only 3€, just to see how it compares to the one I already had. I noticed that it ha...

FS: Goldie Low D + extra body
Hi folks, I’m selling my tunable Goldie Low D and an extra body for it with bigger holes. It’s a soft/medium blower and the bigger-holed body is nice for playing slower pieces, laments and so forth. I bought this whistle used around a year ago. Works perfectly and there are no defects, only slight s...

Re: Skill level and performing
I will say I got the impression people were defending the player in question because he was a good player - I'd be interested to see if everyone was still so open-minded about the repertoire if he was mediocre That would be intriguing to see, indeed. This actually kind of loops back to the original...

Re: Skill level and performing
Again, very nice to read people's feelings towards the subject, along with your personal experiences. I suppose that a lot of what's been said is somewhat parallel to what I was reckoning about the subject. Maybe this overlaps the original subject, but another thing that I was thinking about regardi...
