Re: Water Weasel confirmation
I recognize the material, this is most probably a Water Weasel. As your vote is deciding, I would like to ask you to inspect the first picture of the OP again. There are some odd points in it, and I believe they are unusual in Mr. Schultz’s whistles. 1. There is an awkward residue of glue at the lo...

Re: Dixon brass Trad D.... disappointed.
------- sealing all of the holes can be a challenge for us newbies. I've found that applying a little skin moisterizing lotion to my hands before I play seems to help. This probably sounds a bit silly and may not apply to everybody. I'm an older guy with dry older guy skin, and the lotion really se...

May I ask you why?cheip wrote:I want to buy a Freeman whistle
If I lived in EU and had that amount of money, I would prefer getting Goldfinch whistles to Freeman tweaked ones.
I like the local consumption of locally produced goods.

You also have a nice Susato s-bore Kildare Bb.Jayhawk wrote:Very helpful...I play the whistles solely as backing for Irish songs so opted for the all polymer model. I have a fine Bb Generation for Irish tunes.
I am curious about why you transfer your affections to Dixons.

Mr.Gumby,
Thank you for your prompt answer.
The name of tune I was looking for was "Chief O'Neill's Favourite".
Thanks,

Thank you for introducing us this interesting YouTube channel. Would anybody let me know the name of tune which hatao is playing in routine to show the characteristics of whistle in most of the videos? By the way, this YouTube channel is managed by two people, Jumpei Ueoka and Tomoaki Hatakeyama. Us...

Re: Whistle in "To Have and Have Not"
And I do believe the first few notes of the whistle part are (high) d-e-f-g. The first few notes are c _e f g2 and the key of tune is Ab. So you are correct in picking up your Eb whistle. This tune is a faster played version of the "how little we know" which was played earlier in this mov...

whistle1000,
Why don’t you just send a snail-mail to the address where you sent your whistles?
In that mail, you may ask how he is doing and explain your concern on your whistles.
His family may read it and respond to it, in case he cannot.

Phenolic resin is the material used to make the composite models of Burke whistles.
And Mr. Mack Hoover is also using it to make his whistles.
If your whistle sounds nice, you will see the material differently.

Although exported midi file was played without any problem, there were several lines of warning messages during conversion.
Then, I have put “|:” at the beginning of the first and the third lines of your code and no warning produced this time.
