Not just any old electrical tape...you want the high-voltage stuff, quite stretchy, usually gray...it will sort of bond to itself and comes off cleanly....I have a flute w/ the same broken joint in my lap as I type this.......got to get around to fixing it sometime.......too easy just to keep playin...

In the long run, replication as work for individuals is a dead end. Value reduces to the cost of materials and handling. (think paper clips) At one time, this area was an industrial powerhouse in the manufacture of shoes. (worked in the sweatshop as a lad meself...eayuhp!) Much to my surprise.....it...
