Re: Posting clips
A couple of slow tunes. The first is a version of The Month of January, inspired by the singing of June Tabor. The second is an original composition of mine, with an attempt at harmonizing. Hope you enjoy them. Arbo https://soundcloud.com/arbo-2/the-month-of-january-1 https://soundcloud.com/arbo-2/m...

Re: First piping school: How much is too much
Personally, if at all possible, make plans for the NE Tionol (held at Gavins in East Durham). I know you have already committed to the Irish Arts Week, but keep this event in mind for future plans. With respect to classes, I always find overwhelming in the sense that there is so much information, of...

Re: Modifying tunes.....
Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. Not really a slow version of the original res. Don't know what I was thinking when I came up with this. Anyway, thanks again for the thoughts, encouragement.

Modifying tunes.....
Came across this while listening to some old recordings of myself. An adaptation of a popular reel. I don't really know how to describe it, other than a slow variant of the tune, 'Jenny Picking Cockles.'

An original tune ....
Hi all. I have, over the years, written several tunes in the traditional vein. Here is something I composed on my banjo. Was hoping to get some feedback on it. I tried my best to write it out using ABC notation, but I may not have some of the intricacies of the tune notated. I appreciate your intere...
