Matt Molloy Playing an 8 Key again

I came across this short clip of Matt Molloy playing a tune in his bar for Mayo Day. Interestingly, he's using an 8 key flute I've not seen before, Whatever it is it looks (and sounds) very nice. You'll need to log into facebook to watch it. https://fb.watch/rg6q0kM4HD/

Re: How much for a Boosey Pratten and is it worth it?

Flutes made by Boosey & Co. and marked as R.S. Pratten's Perfected are quite rare beasts. I have seen a few appear on the market, but haven't noticed one for a few years. They are supposed to be very remarkable flutes, and would be well worth seeking out.... I have a 6-key piccolo marked as Boo...

Re: key-pads suitable for open keys on Siccama flute?

Grishnakh, I'd be interested to hear how you get on with the white flute pads. I have an interest in the original Siccama flutes. Does this one have pin or block mounted keys, and are the low C keys of the Pewter plug type, or padded?

Regards.
