Just so you are aware, these last three posts are apparently answering a question that was asked 15 years ago.

Re: What's wrong with the fit of my pipes?
Also you need to drop your right knee quite a bit by tucking you foot under the chair. Sit where just you butt cheeks are barely on the front of the chair and tuck your foot back. That lowers the chanter and solves lots of problems especially when you use regulators but even if you don't. Here is a ...

Re: Séamus Ennis season on TG4 : Séamus 100
m4Malious, no, I already use cloaker, proxying through a Dublin server and still get the same messages with only that one video, using Firefox or Chrome. Not sure what the problem is.

Re: Séamus Ennis season on TG4 : Séamus 100
Same here, plus on the Seamus 100 list of videos, I can see all of them except the one with Louise Mulcahy. It tells me "No compatible source was found for this media" and gives me the same messages in Firefox or Chrome. Any ideas?

Why not just ask the maker? He is a friendly guy and certainly knows and could advise.

Re: Uilleann Pipe travel case Tonareli
I use one of these for my full set with bent back bass reg top and love it. https://greatviolincases.com/collections/howard-core-violin-cases/products/howard-core-cc808-violin-case Other cases that look more industrial (to my mind anyway) have a better chance of being hassled by airline crews, where...

Re: WTB: Vinyl bag
My instructions were published several years ago in the Pipers Review, which NPU has preserved in their archives (as I was reminded by my new Slovenian friend, thanks!). You should be able to find the article here. I called them Rubber Ducky Bags. http://pipers.ie/source/media/?searchTerm=Review&...

Re: WTB: Vinyl bag
The "vinyl" bags I have seen on Northumbrian pipes have either been made by Dave Shaw or by me. They are actually canvas coated on both sides with liquid latex. They have advantages over leather in that they are absolutely air tight right from the start, super easy to fix if a leak develop...

Yes, I use a Fusion tenor ukulele case for a full D Taylor style set with folded back bass reg and love it. I have two other fusion cases (all are the top of their line, not the flimsier lower models) and am very happy with them.

Re: NPU's Piper’s Choice Music Collection
Just got it in the mail today and it is every bit as amazing as his last book, same style and wonderful. No regulators notated, at least at first glance. And it is a very thick book! Lock me in a room with it for several years and I wouldn't put a dent in all that material. Wow, great job!

Re: Insurance and Traveling
Just ask the airline your are flying on. I don't think any commercial airlines have sub-zero temperatures in the baggage hold. Air Canada, for example has this to say: http://enroute.aircanada.com/en/articles/what-temperature-is-it-in-the-baggage-hold. When I have had to gate check a bag, I always c...

Re: Reported activity in violation of the Board’s standards
Interesting that a person with the same name has been offering a ton of whistles, mostly about a year ago, on thesession.org . I am not saying those are/were fraudulent, I have no idea, but it is the same name and that seems to be the persons only contribution to that forum as well. https://thesessi...

Wow, I was unaware that TV was licensed in the UK. Ours is free (and it shows). Thanks, Ian.

Re: Isolated pipers, what has helped you?
In addition to listening and this forum, going to workshops has been the biggest help. The O'Flaherty Irish Music Retreat and Swannanoa have helped me the most. You get confirmation on what you are doing right, correction on what you are doing wrong, and a lot of inspiration and social connection.

On second thought, I don't want to do anything wrong so I will just wait till I am in the UK for real next time. Thanks though.
