Hi Paul, is Big Charlie a yellow lab? He looks like it, except for the world's bushiest dog tail. I thought he was part fox.

I run around a lake that's about 3.25 miles around. I run clockwise, because the last quarter mile is downhill, and it's a nice way to end. Other than that, no explanation for the CW vs. CCW preferences.

Best of luck to you and your family! I hope all goes well.

I'm still playing the whistle that I bought from you during your big sale a couple years ago. It's the best one I own!

Some of my favorites are: Geary's Special Ale from Portland, ME (might have something to do with the 7% alcohol) http://www.gearybrewing.com/pages/hsa.php Smuttynose Old Brown Dog from Portsmouth, NH http://www.smuttynose.com/pages/beers.html When I'm in the west, I like Fat Tire, but I can't get it...

Congratulations on the new arrival. Cute baby and nice looking family.

Was Taylah born in Boston? I noticed she's already dropping her "R"s.

P.S. Happy birthday to Grandpa, too.

Mine is fairly self evident, at least to the US folks--I live in the Boston area and I'm a fan of the Red Sox. This letter B appears on the players' baseball caps.

Hi RW/CT, Which version of O Magnum Mysterium did you use? My church choir usually does the Victoria version, but this year we are doing Morten Lauridsen's for our L&C. For Christmas Eve, we did a setting of The Holly & The Ivy during the prelude, Praetorius "En Natus Est Emanuel for an...

Hi Wyo--nice looking horn. Does it have a 4th valve sticking out of the side? You didn't give us a complete picture. Where did you end up buying it? I seem to remember a posting from you a while back lamenting the fact that you didn't have a music store near you.

Where were all these great picnic food ideas two months ago when it was 90 degrees out?

Anyway, I'll put in my vote for Hebrew National hot dogs slathered with Polish spicy mustard.

Hi Bothrops, I've had a couple business trips to Israel over the past 2 years, and I stayed in the hotels near the beach in Tel Aviv. A quick walk from there is a pub called Molly Blooms where I would go to get my Guinness and hamburger fix when I needed a break from hummus. The only live music I he...

Red Sox, of course. Some, but not all of the reasons: 1) Manny and Youk are back. 2) Nancy Drew has actually started to hit. 3) With so many days off, they will be able to trot out Beckett often. 4) Deep bullpen 5) Ortiz's visits to the doctor for cortisone shots appear to be working. 6) Mike Lowell...
