FS: Flute and whistles
Hello there, I've got precious little time to play these days. When I do, it's my guitars or my D flute, so I have decided to thin down my collection. I am thus putting up some nice flutes and whistles for sale. Description and/or detailed photos available on demand! Siginificant discounts for more ...

Re: On line flute lessons available Brendan Mulholland
A bit of a bump here (hope that's fine, BTW), but I wanted to let everyone know that Brendan is back doing Skype lessons again. I have had several lessons with him so far and can confirm what the previous posters have said. A top player, very patient as a teacher, knows just what you need and gets t...

I do believe David was referring to this one:kkrell wrote:"used" forum where? Nothing on C&F.David Parkhurst wrote:There's a Delrin Somers for sale on the "used" forum. I just got one. Nice tone and great in a bar brawl.

Re: WHich whistle is she playing
I saw a concert clip on YouTube where she throws the whistle into the crowd. I wonder if anyone could get poked in the eye by a flying whistle. A flying black whistle at a concert is hard to see. Still, I would risk injury to nab one of her whistles. Was she playing "Toss the whistles", b...

Re: Hornpipe?
Interestingly enough, I have a 2-CD edition, also published in 2013. Would anyone happen to know what the difference is? It might include a re-issue of a compilation of tracks from Fintan's 2 early albums. Thanks! I suspected as much, since the tutor itself seems to be complete, what with all the t...

Re: Hornpipe?
But of course, it's a long time since the publication of the book. Issued in a new edition in 2013, with 3x the material (and 3 CDs), and a new title: A Complete Guide to Learning the Irish Flute http://imusic.ie/timber-the-flute-tutor/ Interestingly enough, I have a 2-CD edition, also published in...

FS: Alba low D x2
2 non-tuneable Alba whistles for sale (about 10 years old, I believe).
85 EUR each. If you take both, I will include a pool cue case that can comfortably hold both + cover the cost of shipping to anywhere.
Can provide photos upon request.
(partial) trades also welcome.
Cheers,
Mladen

Re: Opinions about delrin flutes with a very good sound
Great topic! Is there anyone who has tried Vicenzo di Mauro's flutes and how do they compare to the likes of Baubet or Somers?
