I have half a bottle of Gibson fretboard cleaner in my shed. It looks clear and oily and it for reconditioning guitar fretboard's of rosewood or ebony. It says..."prevents cracks and reconditions dry fretboards" Could I use it to oil the internal barrel of my flute? It must be good stuff.....

I think all new flutes should come with foam pudding and smooch as standard.
