Where or where have the jerry freeman whistles gone? I'm longing for a tweeked blackbird D for myself and a tweeked bluebird for a Christmas present. I am so happy. I just played my very first song Amazing Grace. It even sounded like it Does anybody know if there are music (tune) books for whistles that contain modern worship songs for church worship bands?

Whistle vs flute
I hope not to appear too stupid but could someone explain to me if there is a difference between the fingering of a whistle versus a flute? What key can a flute play in? Is it the same as a whistle? I feel so dumb asking this question.

Thank you so much for all your information. I do have a Clarke D with a wooden Fipple. I just don't like it. I also have a Generation D and I'm not keen on that one either. I ordered a Parks whistle simply because I can muffle the sound. It's not pleasant to anyone's ears. My boyfriend plays bagpipe...

A newbie looking for help
Hi I'm a newbie and a whistle wannabe. I am new to celtic music and have recently fell in love with it. Could anybody recommend a good beginners book to learn on my own? Also could anyone recommend a good D whistle. Thanks so much.
