I love my Jerry Freeman tweaked high C. I'm no expert, but the whistle is nicely balanced in both octaves, and is a joy to play. FWIW.

I have a Freeman-tweaked Generation Bb that I like a lot. As a relative newbie, I find it's easy to play and, to my ears, very much in tune.

I have a Jerry Freeman Blackbird in Eb and like it a lot. Fun to play and sounds great (to my ear).

As a relative newbie, I'm curious (perhaps confused) about a couple of things: Where is the bell note on a High D whistle in relation to Middle C on a piano? Is it the note above, or an octave above or below? Also, until today, I believed the lowest whistle to be a Low D. Now I see that there's a Lo...

You might also consider a Bb tweaked by Jerry Freeman. I have one, and I like it a lot. Doesn't take a lot of air. I'm not accomplished enough to judge its tone, tuning, etc., but it sounds good to me.

I'm still pretty new to the whistle world (15 months or so), but I already have a modest collection of Bb, C, D, and Eb whistles. I wanted to try a low whistle and, because I have fairly small hands, I bought a Becker G whistle to see if I could play it. I think G is about as low as I can go because...

I liked it a lot. Very pleasant to listen to.

I have no dog in this hunt, so this is just an observation. To pick a nit, there are several grammatical errors on the home page. If he's this sloppy with his Web site, it raises (at least to me) the question of how sloppy he is in the manufacture of his whistles.
