Re: FS: flute case for Olwell Pratten keyless

In order to change the shipping possibilities, I deleted the original ad and posted a new one with the new shipping data (will ship to E.U.). Besides this, nothing has changed: https://www.ebay.de/itm/155648385091?hash=item243d5de043:g:aDoAAOSwF5VkpR6W&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwIt9gRFpmhzo%2F70SyacK...

Re: Pros/Cons of Boehm vs. Simple System foot keys

I have the option of either "standard" simple-system flute foot keys, or Boehm style foot keywork on the flute I am wanting to have made. Here is an interesting point on the subject: With the lower foot joint keys.....the C# and C, somewhat more skill is required to use the block mounted ...

Hi all, just in case anyone is interested, there's a really nice film out on DVD featuring Peter Horan. To make some minor points clearer I thought I just add one or two things here. Indeed the English version is slighly different from the German version. I first wrote the Englis...

Just the usual slowing down, writing down what I thought (!) I heard, playing back – routine. By now I am through with 30 jigs and reels of Sligo music. Basi...

Re: Tuner with fiddle and flute

I guess keyless is taking about the need to be able to continually monitor the tuning of the flute, due to all the things that will lower or raise it pitch That's right :) Sorry if I expressed the thought inaccurate. One wonders if he imagines that the fiddler plays with good intonation, or poor, or...
