Re: Beware of cheap ebay flutes!

The continual use of the word "professional" in ebay listings for various flute-like objects is an interesting paradox. It is being applied to instruments that are presumably the precise opposite of professional - unless it is argued that only a professional player has the chops to get an...

Re: Repadding flute keys

Not talking down some of the replies on here but to me simple is best, Mesure your cup, buy a leather 3mm pad to suit and use a soft white plyable glue (Prit stick is good), insert into cup press down and remove over spill with sharp knife to clean. Done it this way for years with no problems, thats...

Re:

Anyway, I thought I might as well link it here. :P The vid makes m...

Re: Miller Browne/Miller Wickes 6 key piccolos?

Both MWL & MBL Piccs can be found from time to time on ebay my friend . Miller Brown - suffering a lot of cheap copy work in recent years, mainly from Pakistan , its all stamped MB London but you can tell by the thin wall on the body, original is thicker , 'Real Miller Brown' are made today by a...

Re: Louis Lot ? or not a lot ??

Yes Jem 12" aprox 30.5 cm
& the mesure from centre of embouchure to 1st tone hole is aprox 10.6 cm

So its a Concert Pitch D then, again your 100% as our bands (who mostly play with HP Bb) have always searched for HP Eb Piccolos to blend.

Thanks Again J
