The story that was relayed to me was Paddy received a Rowsome set years ago that needed some work. He sent it out to be restored and it was supposedly poorly done. The chanter Hubbert used wasn't touched.

The original Rowsome chanter he used was borrowed from Paddy Keenan. Another thing that I found interesting was it was the first time he made a chanter with scalloped holes. I don't want to post any sound files of my playing since I'm still very much a beginner and will not represent them properly. ...
