i think a fair price would be around $1200-1400 but it's not a great time to be selling (i have quite a few flutes that i would sell, but not now), i hope you are not in a tight place and can wait. i hade a Rosewood and brass Copeland that i loved, probably from around the same time. posting picture...

great flutes and are made like much more expensive ones in the way of craftsmanship.

he may have had to relocate his shop? but he is a supper reliable person , hope it all works out.

john Gallagher makes amazing Pratten flutes in Delrin if you want that, not cheap, but worth the money.

i use Wange, it's from Africa, beautiful wood, brittle and very splintery.

beautiful flute jon !!! i also really like the other Boxwood flute you made.

i've had a few Seery flutes and always really liked them (still have one). non were top players for me but they felt great in my hands and made very well and played good. the embouchure cut on all was always on the small size which i really liked.

i too had a rosewood 4 keys......loved it even though it was not my best player, there was something about that flute.......i'd buy it back without thinking twice if i saw it coming up for sale.......the friend that i bought it from feels the same.....
