I've heard this melody many years ago in some dance track and since then been playing it occasionally on Irish whistle, and it sounded quite traditional to me.

I too purchased this CD rom and it was quite disappointing. It's not cheap, and although it promises tutoring for advanced players I didn't find anything I haven't known already.

I am going to strongly disagree with him on different types of wood do not affect the tone. They sure do. Some woods are porous, while others have a very smooth, hard grain. Makers don't use blackwood for beauty, they use it because of its great acoustic tone ability. I have played flutes and whist...
