Re: Na Piobairi Uilleann change

Ooops, yes its all there, must have had a bit of a moment, was trying to fix my old camera earlier - too long looking through the high power eye glasses for my old eyes perhaps ! The spruce reed making looks interesting..not seen that before

Na Piobairi Uilleann change

Hello,

I was just looking at the new Na Piobairi Uilleann website trying to find the page with back copies of An Piobaire, videos and measurements to name a few things in the Source but all the information seems to have gone.

Is it me or is it somewhere else ? Thanks

Eugene Lambe bag

Hello, I'm trying to fix a small leak in my Eugene Lambe uilleann bag. Not sure what would be best to use as the bag is either vinyl or rubber. Not heard back from Eugene yet so anyone know or have a similar bag from the 80's and what he was using then ? Cheers

Chanter reeds from CP

Has anyone tried or have any knowledge of CP-Reeds ? there are a few Youtube videos of various chanters reeded and demonstrated by the reed maker.

Re: MacRae Highland pipes by McCallum

Hello pancelticpiper, i find the fact the 2 tenors are different intriguing, would you say it's down to manufacture tolerances or deliberate ? is it obvious to the ear and is it bore or cavity/length changes ? cheers in advance..

Re: Matt Molloy...flute?

There has been discussion over the speed of this album, there is no consensus it has had any alterations to the original recording speed.

Re: Generation Bb head

Richard, i can't see the picture you posted is it me ?, never heard of the modification you mention and it sounds worth a try on my Bb whistles that don't work.

Thanks for all the leads folks, found one through amazon.com in the end, new and sensible price. Must have been forgotten in a corner for years.
