Any info on my new(ish) fife?

Greetings all. I am now the proud owner of this All I know that it was manufactured by Drouyn & Drouyn (a drum maker) in Brisbane Australia between 1939-1941. But that is all, and the Internet thing is otherwise unhelpful. Anyone know if they were a worldwide fife, were they considered any good?...

At that price, I would be tempted, just to have a play with them, and to try various combinations.
Only trouble is that postage would cost more than the items :really:

Re: Tunes in 'deep' memory

At the music store there was a accented gentleman who came in maybe once a month or so and bought guitar strings. Always singles - 8's, 10's, 12's, etc. Trying to be helpful one day, we asked him what kind of guitar he played. "No guitar! Cheese!" We figured he was either a restaurateur o...

But he only perfected the sewing machine, not invented it. A fact that always used to needle him. :poke:

Bound to be another singer :tomato: :really: The brain keeps track of everything, but it forgets where it stores it all. So cool. I assume the heat from the tea (or coffee for those with more taste) would also change the pitch slightly.

Re: Please take a look at my first short film - Michelle

Hi Mark, the imagery was nice, the music good, but I am afraid the imagery did not portray the description that you had written. To me it showed someone with Trisomy 21 who was quite high functioning, and who was content with her life. I got the aging of the father, and death of the mother, but noth...

I get 50 per page.

I haven't tried viewing in Firefox but them I am happy with 50 posts per page. At 15 per page I would have 23 pages not 7

New posts showing a lot more

Greetings. I use the show new posts button to see the new posts, and the mark forums read, so I can start with a fresh slate (so to speak) on my visits here. Recently the view new posts are giving me a list of six pages, the top ones are the new ones, and below that heaps of older posts. Have I done...
