please forgive my ignorance but what is shellac? it sounds good?
and about the super glue part, if i apply some into the crack, i still can't squeeze them together because the crack is very small and the bamboo is very hard..

i just found out that humming the tunes for hours and then playing it helps too.

why am i so inconsistent?

hello :D
sometimes when i play i find it quite enjoyable. However there are times when i have no taste in my own playin at all. those time i think i just play notes, and notes comes out. Anybody has the same problem? can i have some tips please? :D

oh thank you for fast responding people, i didn't expect your answers so soon. guess this forum is very active then.
now i finally got it.
oh and by the way i figure out a trick to play a E major on a C whistle: just put a tape half cover on the third hole from the bottom.
it worked quite well.
