The whistle is non-tunable, made by Colin Goldie in 2000, comes with a padded, black nylon pouch ... $140 + $10 (to cover insured shipping in the U.S.). Great cosmic drainpipe sound - I just need the money for other things.

Get one of the newer Yamaha woodgrain plastic recorders or even a sop/alto pair which will stand up to that climate and will play very well. I attended primary school at a small British school in Malaysia. I don't think that we EVER sang the national anthem.

We did, however, sing the school song ... a lot. I still remember all of the words. :boggle:
