To what temperament keyless 'Irish' flutes are built to?
Should I get a flute in Just Intonation, Equal Temperament or in some other temperament?
Or am I forced to constantly change my embouchure to play with the correct intonation?

Does an easy-to-play flute lead to a lazy or poorly developed embouchure?
How to discern this if I am unexperienced?

What is an Irish Flute (7) - What is a "Beginner" Flute?
What is a beginner flute? What is a flute that is easy to play? - Is it a flute that is easy to fill and articulate? - Is it a flute that has an embouchure cut that allows a less focused airstream? - Is it a flute that when you get better at playing it then it starts lacking any particular attribute...

Re: What is an Irish Flute (4) - Hold/Grip and Keys
I'm sorry Terry, I was so used to the Rockstro name that I just mistakenly used it instead of the saying three-point hold... and you clearly explained it a few post above already…! So, with the three-point hold, will my hands and fingers go instinctively into their correct positions independently of...

Re: What is an Irish Flute (4) - Hold/Grip and Keys
In order to avoid bad habits and correctly learn the Rockstro grip, do I need to learn it with a keyed flute? Or is it possible to lean it in keyless flute?
Do the fingers go to the same places in either keyed or keyless flute?

Re: What is an Irish Flute (5) - Intonation
I am still a bit concerned about the intonation of the Irish flute... What can you comment from the information that follows and shed some light? https://www.irishfluteguide.info/choosing-a-simple-system-flute/ "If you use the traditional Irish flute fingering, like that of a whistle, you’ll fi...

What is an Irish Flute (6) - Keys
(in the questions that follow, I am referring to fully chromatic flutes) 1. Traditionally we have a Long upper C key operated by the RH index finger. However, what about using a Short upper C key next to the Bb key operated by the LH thumb? 2. Traditionally we have a Short Bb key operated by the LH...
