Re: Any US makers for a PVC overtone fipple flute?

Re: Is it possible to recommend an internet store...?

I've ordered from Thomann twice, and had no problem. But I suppose their low prices come from being logistics experts rather than experts on the stuff they sell.

Re: Advice/ help on starting a flute-making business

Just a few thoughts: About the name, I think you have a point in choosing one that explains your business idea of making flutes from PVC tubes. The PVC bit is a bit scary though, so perhaps simply "plastic" would work? A bit of retro ring in that as well. Further, you might want to explain...

Re: Low flutes/ whistles & most popular keys for low flutes

I made some exo-fipples, obviously, as I made them up :D Lately I've been gettin' spoiled however, so I mostly play my beautiful, craftsman-made wooden whistles, low E, G, "blue" A, and high E. However, glueing the tube isn't necessary. Adhesive tape works well, as shown in my vid: http://...

Re: Advice/ help on starting a flute-making business

Some thoughts: if I were a prospective buyer I would like to see more detail about each separate kind of flute. Sound samples, pictures and videos would be a strong selling point. YouTube videos might also lead prospective customers to the site. I would also look for details on shipping and payment....

Another video, not in a cave, but in a very cave-like place. This time the reverb really is huge.
