Re: Classes and Sessiuns in Dublin and Galway

Thanks, guys! I've contacted Comhaltas, but just the Craobh Naithi headquarter, and I didn't get any answer yet. We contacted Waltons School, they answered and we arranged some classes in one day, but we are still looking for teachers.. I'd like to contact Louise Mulcahy, but I couldn't find any con...

Classes and Sessiuns in Dublin and Galway

Hi, Hope it's not a problem to post about it here. I'm from Brazil, I'm going with my band to Ireland to spend a week in November, so we'll have a little time to take classes and we all are looking for teachers of each instrument. We contacted some people and schools, but they are not answering us! ...

Teachers wanted in Dublin and Galway

We contacted some people and schools, but they are not answering us! So, if you are a teacher or can help us anyway,...

Re: In which FreemanWhistles meets Mary Bergin ...

Great story! It's awesome to read stories from people I just heard of, writting here :) Well, but now I am totally lost. I was going to buy a tweaked generation D, but now I don't know what to do. I can't even have an idea of how these brands sounds like, without a tweak, as I never heard then live ...

Re: Question about types of whistles for sessions

Hey I have a question about a whistle to be used in a session. I've been playing with my band, here in Brasil, with my susato, and sometimes I hardly can listen to it because of uilleann pipes and people screaming or claping. Susato helped me, because it's impossible to play with my feadog. I'm not ...

Re: Begginer flute in Dublin

Yeah, I've read about tipple flutes, and I prefer them. The only thing is that the dixon would cost almost 3 times less, buying that way. I heard a lot about tipple, but nothing about that dixon flute, that's why I came here. I gonna make an effort not to buy this flute now, and save money to buy th...

So, I want a really cheap flute, j...
