Felix Doran at Clones Fleadh, 1964.

Saw a video clip of the Clones Fleadh, 1964 on a Facebook page. Managed to find a better version on the BBC web page. Felix Doran is filmed playing "Cook in the kitchen", starting at 3 mins 39 sec. into the clip. I hadn't seen this before. Andy Irvine and Luke Kelly come after. https://www...

Better to go to Tommy Sullivan's Marina Bar to listen, or play a few tunes in the frie...

Billy McCormick of Killnaboy, Co. Clare?

Is Billy McCormick of Killnaboy, County Clare still piping? I can't find any video clips clips of Billy playing. There used to be a few clips of Billy playing at a tional in the US, but they have been taken down it seems. He was/is a very good piper. Saw Billy playing his Taylor set one Willie week ...

Great memories of his duets with Vincent Griffin, among other things/occasions, like his playing with Pat Mullins, Seamus Bugler and Pat Costello. Ann McAuliffe plays a wooden Böhm, can't fault her music. See here, with Billy Clifford(a...

Re: details of jon dodd or some good repairer in central Europe

Maybe Solen Lesouef in France, excellent maker, although she may not have the time to do repairs. Avoid Sam Murray at all costs.
