Let me start out by saying that I was absolutely thrilled to see Moore win the Palme D'or (now maybe Eisner and Company at Disney will be forced to distrubute it). Stuart-although I'm sure there must be somebody up here who likes him, but I have yet to meet any Canadians who admit to liking Bush, an...

If you're a fan of Irish harmonica, you should check out Don Kavanaugh.
Lovely man (from Dublin) who's lived in Ottawa for some time now.

He's got this huge harmonica (which he flips to change keys) nicknamed the "gatling gun."

I once saw him on one of those celebrity Jeopardy episodes (you know, the ones where they really dumb down the answers so the celebrities don't look l...

Much to my disappointment, (I've been a Star Trek fan since the fourth grade), I never "got" Enterprise...but the idea of it being cancelled for lack of interest is kinda sad. (I'm still recovering from "Voyageur's" cancellation...fromage, mais oui, mais fromage merveilleux!)

Survivor

Yes I HATE to admit it...but I watched the Survivor finale last night.

Did anyone else notice "O'Carolan's Concerto" being played in the backround while Rob and Amber were cavorting around the island?

(played on re****er, no less)

Emm, I am ssssssoooooooo with you on Northern Exposure. I never missed an episode prior to Rob Morrow's departure (what a hottie).

I still can't understand why ABC canned "Whose Line." It was the funniest show on TV.

And I never miss "Voyager" reruns if I can help it...

I've come to this discussion rather late...I'm up to my arse cramming for comps...but a couple of points: Thanks for posting the original article, Mark. The reference list is stellar, and I immediately printed it off along with the article. She's certainly done her academic homework. I too had wonde...
