Re: Full D set measurements question

I'm not sure where they are located. I've given them a few measurements of a few sets.
They are now working on a larger prototype.
I'll write back when I have more info.
But if anyone else has ideal measurements for a case, I can pass it on.

Re: Full D set measurements question

I think my pictures got blocked as spam? I'm not advertising but wanting to help them, help us so we can have a good case. I've had to buy cases for trombones, bass cabinets, and other instruments. It would be better to have a case made for us. After posting on Facebook, it looks like there ar...

Here are pictures.
If you Google Bagpipe skin, you can see how cool this case is.
I'm not sure all D sets would fit like mine.. So, any measurements would help.

Full D set measurements question

Hello everyone, I'm curious about the lengths of Full D sets for putting in a case, with the bass drone top off. From the mainstock with bag, to the end of the furthest point. If you could please measure and name your sets. It would be a great help. I now have had 4 pipe cases, and just bought one t...

Re: Regs and bottom D

My practice tune for hitting the D reg while playing bottom D, is the hornpipe The Plains of Boyle. I tap the the D reg every time I play the Bottom D. It happens a bunch in the first part of the tune. My problem is still bellows with the regs. I'll freeze up my bellows, and run out of air. My reg p...

Re: Bought a new case for my pipes

I never though about the Ukulele case! It looks like a nice size.
Better price than the trombone case too. I should find out how to post pictures here, so I can show how mine looks with the pipes in them.

Bought a new case for my pipes

I wore out my last case, which was a bass clarinet case. I wanted a nice backpack case, and was looking at cases from Fusion. I ended up buying the trombone 9.5" case. It fits everything. Bellows, full D set, without having to take the bass drone off. I haven't put my C set in, but I'm sure it ...

Re: Music for the Irish Pipes - Joe Doyle

I love mine! It's a great resource for any player. If I could only have one book of music, this would be it!
I wish I had this years ago! It's that great!

Re: Best method for precise tuning?

One thing that is overlooked about tuning, is blowing the correct pressure for your instrument.
Try playing someone's whistle who sounds great. You may have to blow up or down to suit it.
Every whistle has its needs.

If I could sell my D set, and I love my set too, I would definitely beg my wife for this! Beautiful set!
I hurts to look at it. ♡
