Re: Bill Ochs, RIP
Steve - I was looking to you for that information. Tom and I would like to attend if we can get the time and place; all I've seen so far is "early spring." Thanks.

Re: Bill Ochs, RIP
I just now learned of this and am deeply saddened. When my daughter was born in 1988, I wanted something to do while hanging out with her and purchased, at the Enchanted Forest on Mercer St, the Clarke Tin Whistle book and cd along with the C whistle, which is all they were making at the time. I fel...

Re: MK plain alloy in A
I also got an email from Misha that as I had ordered a G years ago, he was giving me a heads up on the new batch of A whistles. I've had it for two days and absolutely love it. Satin Green finish, a new plastic tuning slide (replaces the brass) which is the best in my experience (feels hydraulic and...

Re: Statement on status of Copelands.
Always a pleasure to deal with Michael. My first high end whistles were from the dear departed Glenn Schultz and from Michael. I am sated now with a collection of Copelands lacking only a low E. I'm happy he's found his peace.

Sheet Music for Battlefield Band Ge Do Theid Mi Do M'Leabiad
Does anyone have or know where I can get the referenced sheet music? Yes, I have the cd and love it especially this tune. I know for some of you sheet music is anathema, but I like to use it as opposed to ABC because when I look at it I get the "shape" of the tune in my head, then I listen...

Re: Ain't No Sunshine (Uke cover w/ low whistle)
That whole deal was really nice. I've been trying so hard to get up to new levels in trad whistle playing that it was only recently that I started trying to riff to Brubeck, Clapton, etc. A few truly inspired terrific moments accompanied by some really bad ideas so far; fun though. Thanks for posting.

I can't even count the number of times I've mispronounced Llanfairpyllgwyngyll I would think you would be quite good at pronouncing it, given that your name is Bleddyn! Can't tell you the number of times I've had trouble pronouncing that also... For the record, the name Bleddyn is derived from the ...

Re: CP Announcing Freeman tweaked Vintage C Generations (rare)
Thanks to you Jerry, I just went through my collection and found 2 Gen Cs with red caps that seem to fit your definition of "vintage." I must say without any tweaking these are marvelous. (Which is not to downplay your tweaking as I have several of your tweaked whistles and all are wonderf...
