Claudine, May I ask a favor of you? While you are in Clare, could you ask if there is anybody with the family name Fodge still living around there? My great grandparents, John Fodge and Margaret Fox, came from Moy, Killifidane Civil Parish, Kiladysert Roman Catholic Parish, County Clare(not sure of ...

I went to Google.com and did a search using Comhaltas Tour and came up with a lot of results including their web page. Go to http://www.comhaltas.com/ You may find what you're looking for there.
Hope this helps,
Rick

I just went to MP3.com and put High Road To Linton in their search thingy and was directed to the page for Gan Ainm. It's part of a three tune set they do that I'm listening to now, they're not bad either. Go to MP3.com and use their search feature. If the songs are there, they'll show up. Hope this...

Dale, Thanks for sharing that. I don't know your daughter or why she is in Romania, but I know how it feels to work with people with special needs. I've been with Special Olympics for 12 years now and wouldn't trade any of the time I've spent with the athletes. Of course, conditions aren't as bad he...

The Walton's D I ordered has arrived! In between phone calls (why is it nobody calls when I'm just sitting around?) I spent about half an hour running up and down the scales lamenting the fact that I am a die hard right hander. Those fingers do all right. It's the ones on the left, plus my breathing...

I have recently ordered my first whistle and am glad to see Walton's mentioned fovorably in this section since I ordered a Walton D. It's nice to know that I have made what appears to be a good decision. As a beginner to whistle playing, I know I will be probably be back and forth to this forum a lo...

As a beginner-to-be waiting for my first whistle to arrive, a Walton D, I find myself visiting this forum a lot. It's a great place to find information and the people whose postings I've read seem to be willing to help with most anything. The selection of a beginner's song is one of my primary conce...
