Goodbye Moonlight

I don't know how many here might still remember our member Moonlight who was a whistle player and lover of Irish music but I thought I should let the group know that Moon, real name Linda, passed away from cancer this evening. I don't check in as often these days either and had also missed this terrible news.

Just learned the chilling news about Denny. What gracious good humour, wit and wisdom we are losing.

I am not ashamed to say I am weeping as I type this.

I played this flute for a while some years ago and it is a beauty!

Re: Yellow jackets

I had one fly into the open collar of my shirt while I was cycling years ago and it stung me several times on my back before I could stop and reach around to crush it. I did not sleep well for some time after that.

Re: questions about the royal wedding?

Long ago I realized if I moved into a boarding house I might be considered an unconfirmed roomer.

I'd say that the purpose of making this film would be to show the whole world what a 'genius' is Baz Lurhman.. That 'great' Aussie director....the one that gave us the 'Baz Lurhman epic' ,Australia :P  :( .. What a total pile of embarassment to all Australians that was..I'm as patriotic as t...
